Aluminum Producer – Risky Business Resolved

      Following a potentially hazardous event, it was established that the need for a full risk assessment for the petrochemical storage installations of this aluminum producer was critical. Accordingly, Acuratek was mandated to conduct multiple risk scenarios and analyse the potential consequences.

      The scenarios allowed for all systems to be scrutinized, including reservoirs, pumps and evaporation rooms. In turn, the consequences were each associated an occurrence value, thus identifying the critical areas for risk potential.

       The recommendations proposed by Acuratek constituted a crucial step towards avoiding further dangerous occurrences on site. By identifying the principal hazardous areas, adjustments were made to aid in maintaining a safe storage environment for petrochemical products.
